Working with clients as a nutritionist, I saw how strongly a role emotions played in a client’s ability to make changes towards healthier eating habits. I began to understand how important it was to have health in all three areas: emotional, physical and spiritual (in whatever way spirituality means to you). And that a weakness in one area can impact the health in another.
I believe that the body has an amazing ability to heal itself and provide us with the energy we need for a full life if we give it what it needs:
- Healthy coping mechanisms for releasing and coping with stress
- Healthy food (most of the time) 🙂
- Good relationships
- Movement/exercise
- Fresh air
- Self-care and self-love
Although my career path in wellness began with nutrition, it was several years later that a friend introduced the concept of Reiki to me. It made such a positive impact on my life, I wanted to learn how it could help me help others in my life.
Reiki is one way to help the body and mind let go of stress and allow the body do the healing it needs. Reiki brought deep relaxation, mindfulness, stress release and comfort into my life. I hope you experience the same wonderful things.
